"sheer brilliance!"

Toronto singer/songwriter, Andrea Florian has been writing and performing for the last 10 years. Picture This is her 4th full length album to date.Produced by the acclaimed John Switzer (Jane Siberry), Picture This was a labour of love that was in the works for three years. Florian's best work yet, the record is a natural progression of her trademark folk-pop sound and honest poetic lyricism. Featuring collaborations with local guitarist Tracy Jones and several high-profile musical guests (including Big Sugar's Al Cross & Kurt Swinghammer), Picture This is the latest chapter in a remarkable musical career.

With three other well-received albums on her own Bathsheba Records label, Florian is the epitome of the hardworking indie artist, booking her own tours to Australia (where she appeared on the national music channel), the U.K., and Europe, as well as frequent trips to the U.S. Her enthusiasm and perseverance even landed her a coveted full-page feature in Billboard Magazine, which wrote, "Florian's career is heating up."

A three year hiatus from the music scene & the grind of touring has enabled Florian to recharge her musical batteries. She has written enough new songs for several more albums, including many works that revisit her first love... the piano.

Look out for a sampling of Andrea's new songs to be released FALL 2008. (digital only)

Great Music By Great Musicians!
author: Stella
The songwriting on this cd is great, but what really pushes it to its apex is the very impressive musicianshop of all the players involved! The drumming on She said is inspiring! and the rest of the band sounds great. A strong vocalist with a band ready for the task.

From the first song, you know that Andrea Florian hits the ground running with this CD. Although "More than I am" is one of my favourite tracks, it must also be heard LIVE - trust me! This CD is packed with incredible songs that leave you wanting more and we won't have to wait much longer. Andrea Florian's latest CD will be released in April 2003!
