this is an awesome cd. scherrie, lynda & freddi vocals are just "supreme" on theses tracks. the dance mixes take you back to the 1970s/80s disco dance mixes of the day. this should be a sure fire club hit for the flos?!. i hope: "united we're taking control" is pushed and promoted correctly?!. and should be played/pushed at the clubs & on the dance radio stations!!. i wish the ladies the best of luck with this new single!!. i just love the tracks 'touch' regards phillip howell.

This single is absolutely causing chaos & commotion on many a dancefloor worldwide. The Former Ladies Of the Supremes are back in action folks! If you love soulful house/dance in the musical vein of The Sweet Inspirations, The Weather Girls, Inaya Day, Pat Hodges, and Kathy Brown then this is just the ticket. The always amazing Scherrie Payne is back, sharing lead with Lynda and Freddi, and the record is just plain fun! My crew is sold on the Original Recipe mix for now, but mixes by L.E.X. and Soul Shakers are close seconds. Plus the bonus track Love & Hapiness makes this CD a must-have. Can someone sit down all the dinky pop stars of today like Britney, Cassie, Paris, Lindsay and the like and just make them listen to these women? Honestly, these ladies are the real deal, from the time when you actually had to have TALENT to make an album, not just the dollars to buy the best producer of the moment to make up for your lack of a voice and the best sound engineer to doctor your vocals into something less painful, and that seems to be a perspective that's entirely lost in this generation's willingness to accept image and marketing in place of ability. The topic addressed in the lyrics is nothing new, but never before has it been stated so directly, and from people so apt to say it. This is what Leela James was trying to say in "Music", but didn't quite have the years and experience to make it sound founded. Scherrie Payne (final lead singer of The Supremes), Lynda Laurence (Supreme member from 71-74) and Freddi Poole (who tour across the globe as Former Ladies of the Supremes) bring us, "Sisters United", the anthem of the summer and truly a song that's going to be talked about for years to come.
