FLOW is a Christian Rap group made up of Minister. Larry Parks and Minister Ahmad Washington. FLOW is an acronym that means Faithful Lyricists Ofda Word. These two passionate and enthusiastic young men have been in the Christian Rap ministry since their debut CD Breakthu hit the streets the summer of 2005. Larry aka LP and Ahmad aka Mouf Pieceof God (MPG) have had many God given opportunities to minister in various churches in Waco, Houston, Oklahoma, and many other churches in the Central Texas area. Their second CD entitled “ITZ TYME” demonstrates tremendous growth in these two young ministers. This CD includes 15 hot tracks that will inspire, encourage, and challenge the listeners. The CD includes hip-hop church anthems such as “Highest Praize, Throw IT Up, Can’t Stop, and Dat FOG (Favor of God).” In contrast to the hype tracks, “Lord It Hurt” addresses deeply personal pain that plagues the hearts of both Christians and nonChristians and lets the listener know that there is a true and living God that is able to bring healing and strength during difficult times. Songs like “Say Uh Prayer” and “2 Blessed 2 Be Stressed”, address the groups own challenges in presenting God’s truth through hip hop to a world that has a hard time accepting rap with Godly values and to a church that sometimes has a hard time accepting God’s use of this genre. In addition ITZ TYME includes features from rap artists such as J-MO on “N Da Wata”, and Da Street Preachaz (DSP). Other featured artists are Christian RnB vocalists Men of Zion (MOZ) and singing sensation Farrah Burns aka Angel Chordz. The entire CD is a rich blend of Dirty South tracks, West Coast tracks, and other innovative and inspiring tracks produced by FLOW. This CD will get the listeners moving in their faith from the church to the streets.
