Album Notes

Flying Like Wilma is a comedy music band made up of Tony and Marissa Goldmark. "Learning To Read Made Me Cool!!" is their first album. They found the lyrics to all the songs, written in 75 minutes on a lukewarm afternoon in March 1854 by President Franklin Pierce, etched into a 3"x5" hunk of fossilized zinc discovered during Tony’s last trip to the urologist. Tony and Marissa took credit for the songs, and followed up this ingenious bit of thievery by taking credit for Western Civilization itself. Their goal is to someday make enough money producing bad children's movies to purchase an enormous yacht that holds smaller yachts, so that they can sink it for no reason. The first track, "Kid In First Class" was a finalist in the 2007 International Songwriting Competition (songwritingcompetition.com).
