Album Notes

The musicality of each member of Fly really exhausts the three piece format. So much music from three guys, originally a four piece. When a replacement vocalist couldn't be decided upon, songwriter Jason Petty blossomed into the extra vocal element that agve the band a voice (rather than just vocals). Soon, the artful nature of Fly's music became easier to see. The intricate and skillful drumming of M. Powe is one of a kind in this genre, comprising an equal portion of the music, rather than competing with it. They are currently MIA as a group, although several fans have placed members in different places, from California to Law School to ODIS (perfoming at sxsw). Their own site's declare, "We're in hiding"

A lot of indie noise for a three piece. This is a great listen if you like indie rock with a post-hardcore edge. Expect the punchy, flowing lead guitar typical of the North Central Texas scene paired with an easy bass and clever drums. Sweet find.
