Album Notes

Their debut album, "Box Set" suggests that even in its early years Flywright was sophisticated in their taste and musicianship. Having known each other since childhood, the members grew up on popular rock of the late 90's and early 2000's while simultaneously taking influence from classic rock albums of the 70's. "Box Set" is a compilation of EPs recorded between 2002 to 2006, showcasing Flywright's buoyant energy and fun songs, yet the album shows the progression of a young band coming into their own style, chemistry and personality.

Now a developed recording band, Flywright continues their pursuit of a constantly updating sound. Their past influences are joined by ideas, sounds and directions, while Flywright concurrently maintains the integrity of their own natural driving energy.
