The comedy music community has come together in support of the victims of the events of September 11. Believing that laughter is indeed good medicine, we offer an hour of humorous music and spoken comedy as a temporary salve for our collective emotional wounds, and as an opportunity to channel funds to where they are most desperately needed - the victims and their families in New York and Washington, DC.
Conceived and headed up by Grant Baciocco of the Los Angeles-based comedy band Throwing Toasters, with production by Chris Mezzolesta of Power Salad, LAUGHTER IS A POWERFUL WEAPON will directly benefit the victims of the attacks via donations to the Twin Towers Orphan Fund. By working directly with the Fund and establishing a holding account for funds received by Funny Musicians in trust for the Fund, we are assuring that absolutely 100% of all monies received will go to those who need it, so you can buy with confidence.
Many of the artists on the compact disc have been featured on the nationally-syndicated "Dr. Demento Show", and we sincerely appreciate all of the artists' generosity in donating the songs to the project and to the cause. Liner Notes written by Dr. Demento.
$10 of each $14 sale here on CDBaby will go to the Twin Towers Orphans Fund.

Hard to review
author: John Richeson
This albumn is hard to review. It is hard to type when you are rolling on the floor laughing in the House of Underpants. Or seeing visions of Gasoline Angels bring you Mrs. Grass Chicken Soup.
I gotta go! Cats are taking over the world and my PC.
