Focus Biography R&B Recording Artist Reunited in 2001 by co-founders Frederick Williams and Antonio Johnson, the group FOCUS is by no means a stranger to the entertainment world. Compared to groups the likes of Jodeci, Az Yet, New Edition, Take 6 and Silk, this up-and-coming sensation is said to be the “Boyz to Men of the New Millennium.” The smooth, melodic, accappella sounds of FOCUS are a synthesis of gospel, jazz and R&B. Despite the size and intimidating nature of the music industry, these natives who hail from the west side of Chicago aspire to expand their sound and knowledge far beyond the Windy City. Their sight is set on becoming the next multi-platinum R&B group, with hopes of crossing over and becoming media moguls like other big R&B and Hip Hop names who venture in the fashion and real estate industries.
