** NEW ALBUM TO BE RELEASED EARLY 2006!!

Folkrum is a dirt road taken at highway speed by a harmony-driven modern vintage bandwagon. Nimble fingers fandango across the countryside without a fret. An empassioned storyteller tears off the rear-view mirror, as the seats become a string section of gypsies and tap-dancing troubadours.
Opening for acts such as Michelle Shocked, Train, Luka Bloom, and Strangefolk, their vaudevillian humor and melodic/harmonic intensity zigzags through time, from Victorian sea chanties to P-Funkish grooves. With skillful, yet spacious arrangements, the band delivers punching, truthful glimpses at today's problems and joys.
Currently based in Portland Oregon, the band recorded and mixed their debut album, "some antics," at Mississippi Studios.
Abounding optimism fills both lanes as they continue to perform, write, and grow.

Great,gutsy, fun!
author: Ann
Love the variety of styles and sounds employed in some antics. Gutsy lyrics combined with fine musical skills make for a great album you never get tired of listening to. Most of all you can tell they're having fun. What could be better? Love it. Looking for the next CD!!
