Album Notes

Thirty years of playing the music of Appalachia have given the members of the Foot in the Air String Band an organic understanding of the rhythms and melodies that define this unique American music. The notes dance between Bob Toothman's hammered dulcimer to Stew Schneider's autoharp and Ken Castania's wonderfully measured banjo against the solid framework laid down by Jim Miller and Charlie Cook. You won't want to miss this live performance, complete with a taste of the nonsense that goes on in between takes at a Foot in the Air concert.
