Album Notes

Camera; with a flicker of an 8mm reel, Foreign Cinema projects a noir soundscape, blending elements of shoegaze, triphop, and dub. The band's signature sound balances light and dark, and is blanketed in ethereal warmth with interjected groove. Use of melody, space, and beat are weaved together before a shadowy backdrop.

Lights; founded in 2008, the symbiotic core is comprised of San Francisco based Astral singer/guitarist, Dave Han and bass guitar courtesy of Natalia Silva of Goiania, Brazil.

Action;
The band's debut EP, Non-Synchronous Sound is released by UK indie label, Parallax Sounds and features 3 originals and a cover of Depeche Mode's obscure b-side, Ice Machine.
