Eclectic, Nostalgic
I've never been as huge a fan of the MM series as other video-games, but I am a long time supporter of OC ReMix. The OC ReMix community are no strangers to making dope arrangements, and it's fantastic to see them releasing a project partnered with Capcom.
Whether you are a connoisseur of vgm tributes or just a casual listener that is open to a variety of styles, this album is certainly worth checking out. As I mentioned above, I'm not too in-tune with most of the MM music, but that didn't stop me one bit from enjoying much of the album to a great degree (as a sucker for slick, serene beats I have to personally give a shout out to Radiowar's "Exchange" for having such a rich, 'Amon Tobin-esque' soundscape). At this point you're only hurting yourself by continuing to read this instead of checking the dang music out for yourself. ;P

There's a fair portion of shredding for those who like to get their faces melted, plenty of chunky synths and phat bass lines for those who like to have their bodies rattled, and a good bit of transcendent chillout tunes as well. Congrats to OC Remix and Capcom!

Nice Work!
For Everlasting Peace: 25 Years of Mega Man is a fantastic tribute to the Mega Man series. OverClocked ReMix has done an amazing job working together with Capcom USA to put out this album, and I'd definitely recommend it to ANYONE who has a soft spot for the Mega Man games and their music. I especially found it great how the album tackles music from the first game in every US-released Mega Man series, including ones like Legends, Battle Network, and Star Force that generally don't get enough love among MM fans. For specific remixes I enjoyed, I absolutely loved the djpretzel & Diggi Dis teamup of "Slow Your Roll", as well as Helicopter Knife Fight's "Ore wa Rockman ZX!" Two of the Battle Network remixes, "No Matter Where You Go, This Will Always Be Home" by Level 99 and "Exchange" by Radiowar, really struck a chord with me as a long time Battle Network fan. "Electric Spark" by Sixto Sounds gave me that rockin' guitar I needed, and Joshua Morse's "Falling Star" was a wonderful way to close out the album.

Great new album from OverClocked ReMix & Capcom!
This album is a collection of songs from the first Mega Man game of various series.

Fans of video game music rearrangements should be able to dig this album pretty quickly. It has a mix of styles, which you hear as you listen through the album. It is heavier on the electronic & rock elements of various varieties.

The first disc is more energetic than the second disc, and is more to my liking.

For those who are familiar with OverClocked ReMix (http://ocremix.org/) and are fans of the site, this is a no brainer to pick up!
