Album Notes
"For Karma" is an alternative rock band with screamo/punk influences hailing from New Orleans, Louisiana. It consist of members Todd Lemoine on vocals and guitar, Albert Bertolino on bass guitar, and Darren Chambers on drums. The band has been playing together sense October of 2008. “For Karma” has a very unique sound. Pulling a lot of influence from the early 90’s grunge and early 80’s punk. Lots of alternate guitar tunings and intense performances, both vocally and musically, have lead to this band being one of New Orleans most unique rock bands. One of the most captivating things about “For Karma” is that they record everything live. There are no overdubs, click tracks, or pitch correctors. What you hear is what you get. This method of recording has lead to the album “The Angels took the Stairs”. Viewed by some as the most intense album in its genre. It is amazing it was recorded and mixed in just two days. If you are looking for honest music in a truly digital age, you have found it in “For Karma”.
