NYC-based electronic composer/producer charles an. active in underground party and club scenes since 1999, form has played to audiences of 300plus, and has been in the studio writing and recording intelligent, progressive 130bpm dark techno. form has also licensed music for websites and audio/visual background scoring.

calling upon a varied range of sonic influences like industrial artists haujobb (for whom form opened up in 2002), and other acts such as dj sasha, orbital, and depeche mode, form culls the best elements of multiple music genres to create a signature sound all its own. form has been called by outburn magazine in 2000 as “...not having to rely on one single genre of electronic music...”.

download.com named form an editor's choice in 2004, and also said of form, "...Dark melodies and a gut-thumping beat characterize the work of this New York City (act)...".

and form’s more recent study of drum-and-bass artists dj photek and dj?acucrack (for whom form opened up in 2001), has created yet another stirring exploration of dark themes set against infectious beats.
