Highly original and highly recommended!

Rarely have I found such a highly original album of music so emminently listenable. The 10 tracks covers an incredibly wide array of moods (fusion, blues, straight-ahead jazz, etc.), but Scott's versatile guitar playing remains consistently inventive and engaging. Despite that, the MVP of this session just might be Jim Peterson, who contributed the arrangements, the first two of which blew me away when I first heard them. Kudos also to Jon Evans, who did double duty, contributing both sensitive bass playing and perfectly-balanced sound.

Fantastic classic jazz with a modern era kick to it

I am a huge jazz fan and this CD will be at the top of my rotation. I frequent a famous a famous jazz club in Chicago called "Andy’s", this CD is just as good, if not better than the performances there. I highly recommend it. It's just some great jazz, something that is quickly becoming a lost art form.
