a real musician

I saw frank with buddy guy in red bank nj. He captivated the audience. It was rare to have an audience sit quietly and enjoy a performer without all of noise that normally goes with a show. frank brought an authenticity to the music he played and probably exposed people to some lost blues that might soon be gone. thanks frank.

Having grown up in Point Pleasant, NJ, I find it difficult to believe that someone who plays and sings traditional Blues this well lives in Beachwood—I would have placed him closer to Waretown. The songs on this CD, which include three original instrumentals, display Frank's excellent musical sense and musicianship. The guitar work is crisp and spirited, and his singing is solid and expressive. Overall, it is an extremely enjoyable CD. Fans of East Coast/Piedmont Blues—or just plain ol' good music in general--can't go wrong with "Teasin' The Frets."

i heard about frank on the yahoo house concert group and decided to check him out. both his voice and guitar are rock solid, and i'm going to try to get him for my boat concert series. i hope we can work something out. his sound is perfect for my crowd. this is really enjoyable stuff. his guitar reminds me of another favorite of mine, the late dave van ronk. hope that's a compliment to frank, cos it's a big one from me...

Fotusky is a bodacious picker whose musical taste is impeccable. This CD is a find for those of us who want to listen to real music rather than the over-produced pap that passes for music in the mainstream. Will go well with North Carolina barbeque and whiskey.
