Album Notes

Long Island based trio formed from members of three of the hottest rockabilly bands on the East Coast, The Found Cats fuse gospel with traditional rockabilly to create a fresh new sound with a compelling message. The band's version of Elvis' "Run On" is spectactular.

MEET THE BAND

Pete Ludovico - One of the primary songwriters and lead singer on the majority of the record, Pete also plays the drum kit. Pete's other bands include The Spinouts and Peter and The Wolves whose releases are also available on Golly Gee Records and CD Baby - of course.

Jeff McLary - The other primary songwriter and lead singer, Jeff plays the guitars. Jeff's other band is the Long Island Hornets whose album "Roadkill" was released by Golly Gee Records and is available on CD Baby.

Tom Hopkins - On the Upright Bass and lead vocal on "Heavenly Teardops", Tom is a veteran of the NYC/Long Island rockabilly scene. Tom's band, Rhythm Bound!, just released their first record "Born To Love You" which is also available on CD Baby. Tom has also played Upright for Peter and The Wolves and The Blemont Playboys.

Just like The Spinouts and Peter & The Wolves this is another awesome Rockabilly album with Pete Ludovico and friends. Very good and authentic atmosphere with some Gospel influences.
