The 'Fountain Weird" album is actually ten songs from the band ; The Greenhouse Effect ...from the 1990 to 92' 'final' phaze ..... multi-instrumentalist Clark Hagins changed the name of his project for this 1994 cd release album....while still maintaining the better well known 'Greenhouse Effect' and it's ideas ........

Fountain weird with time has turned out to be an accidental amazing little quirky catchy album from the heart of the alternative 1990's !

As one of the earliest pioneers of grunge and alternative music way back in the 1980s, the South bay's Clark Hagins got his start by listening to the music of obscure South Bay bands such as Lomita California's ; A Noise Agency .... a heavy influence on Hagins or as Hagins would lay his claim; 'A Noise agency' is the original Nirvana ! and their album 'Moms in the kitchen" is the first issue of 'nevermind' but FIVE YEARS BEFORE THE 90'S WOULD ARRIVE...........This genius band would instill into Hagins' mind and from their quirky underground heavy pop, Hagins would create Greenhouse Effect and the Soul Clinic with two of Redondo Beach's premier guitarists; Soul Clinic would feature Steve Stepanian and G.E. would feature the mastery of guitarist Phil Keegan.


Hagins would hang-out with reclusive eclectic people in the South Bay and Torrance as well....and these weird influences would manifest in Hagins ideas for pop music

Hagins released some 7 albums among them one of Rock n Rolls most important ; 1995's White Suburban Liar$ - The Rock Opera which is a collection of 16 of rock's most catchy hard to believe all original hard pop ! Find a copy if you can !

Hagins is now extremely well known world wide as a musician and poet....and even a swimming pool cleaner....where the daily thoughts and exploits of
Hagins life past and present are hillariously and ironically woven into his daily blog of creative words and writings at his Greenhouse Effect website...and the addictive reading of his writings is becoming as legendary as the man himself !
