Album Notes
The album "Plague" comes from the past 6 years of hard work. It started with a simple idea of being able to throw out all that I love to listen to and only play what comes from the heart. Over the years I noticed a difference in bands that played what they like to listen to and bands that play what they are inside. I set out to create a genuine and heavy album that tells of my life in the last several years. After a year off from writing I started on this project and out came a hard to describe mix of heavy groove riffs and melodic picking. The list of my musical roots are so vast that I couldn't tell that any one or even five bands were the inspiration for this album. When I listen to it I hear thrash or death metal or groove metal, then the next time I listen to it I hear melodic death metal or hardcore or something progressive. I just hope that it can be enjoyed as much as I enjoy listening to it and writing it.
