Album Notes

Four Barrel Ghost is Klavin Black (Lead Vocals), Stevie Tomahawk (Guitar), Addicus Finch (Bass), Chombie (Drums). The band resides in Pittsburgh, PA, but most of the members grew up elsewhere. Addicus in "Gods Country" West Virginia, Chombie in Northern Florida, and Klavin in Rhode Island. Stevie grew up a Pittsburgh boy. Addicus and Chombie grew up listening to country music, while Klavin got his first taste of country the four years he lived in Mississippi, but still they all grew up with a love for rock & roll. By combining the two genres, and adding a lot of humor, 4BG was concieved. We've recently gotten a new guitarist, El Toro, as Stevie has decided to hang up the guitar for a while.

With "Pack It Up" we tried to give the listener a somewhat "Live Feel" for our music, the way we play it in little bars scattered throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. "I Don't Wanna Hear About Buffulo" is kind of the intro to the album, describing an infamous trip to Buffalo, New York by Stevie and Addicus (yes it's Addicus not Atticus). Stevie and Addicus kept bragging about the great time they had there, and finally Klavin yelled, I don't wanna hear about Buffalo. The song wrote itself from there. There is definately more rock than country in this cd, and we wanted it that way for now. This is our first cd, and no matter how many we do after this, will be a special one.

I bought this CD after seeing 4BG. The CD captures the energy you get at a live performance. It's great to see and listen to a rock and roll band that rocks and hasn't forgotten the Music is supposed to be fun.
