Album Notes

After the gals realized that this traveling "group of girl songwriters" was so much fun and such a hit at theaters and clubs, they just kept on making great records.

"The antics and warmth of the Four Bitchin' Babes--one part comedy routine, one part acoustic mastery and always lots of fun." THE GREENVILLE NEWS, S.C.

From 1991-1993, Grammy Award winning songwriter, Julie Gold (From A Distance, recorded by Bette Midler) toured and performed with the BABEs. This is the only CD Julie is on with the gals and it's a winner. Julie's "Good Night New York" was later recorded by Nancy Griffith. Her "Try Love" was used as the HBO Video Christmas Card song.

"The crowd wanted to laugh and the Babes didn't let them down." ALBANY TIMES UNION

This CD also contains the songs that have become BABE standards, such as Chris' "Bald Headed Men", Sally's Kerrville award winning "Save Me A Seat" and those BABE comedy hits "Butter," and "Take Me Out To Eat."

"Together they tell humorously observant tales of modern urban life, and harmonize like a heavenly chorus." THE CHICAGO TRIBUNE

"A hilariously twisted foursome...they possess remarkable singing voices and excellent songwriting skills." THE GRAND RAPIDS PRESS
