notes

Produced by Dan Green and the BABEs, this recording proves that a great idea will continue to be a great idea. Four different women, living in four different cities, with different writing styles, can come together for harmonies and fun, creating one "voice."

Fans of Gabby Road or Life According to 4 Bitchin' Babes will find this album's collection of ballads and comedic songs to be another home run. Standout tracks include "TV Talk," "Microwave Life," and "Great Big Bug" for humor, and "My Mother's Hands" and "She Won't Be Walkin'" for poignancy. Another solid effort from the talented songwriting collective.

For real fans, the scoop is that Christine Lavin is wearing Sally Fingerett's jumper on the cover because the airlines lost her suitcase on the way to the photo shoot.
They share clothes, songs, and laughs!

  • The Humor Hammers
    author: Patrick Donlin

These ladies offer keen observations on so many of the things we should laugh at every day. When thay punctuate the humor with their tender sides, it's all the more moving. You never forget their humanity.

All I can say is buy the CD and go see whatever version of the Four Bitchin' Babes that is on tour. The 2006 group (Debi Smith, Sally Fingerett, Nancy Moran and Deirdre Flint) are very capably and proudly holding up the tradition established by the alumnae from Babes past. A good overall laugh at life in general.
