Hailing from the pristine island of St. Thomas in the United States Virgin Islands, the vibrant trio 'Four Horsemen' have began to take the musical landscape of the Caribbean by storm. Combining various perspectives on acoustic rock and reggae with three part harmonies, Four Horsemen have created a sound that is nothing less than rare in a world where original music is not held paramount. The three members, Doyle, Jon, and Jesse, are continuously active within the walls of ISW Studios (www.iswstudios.com) and have taken part in many collaborations with the local and regional talent of the Caribbean. These collaborations in Hip-Hop, Back Beat, Calypso, R&B, Reggae, And Soul have played an active part in expanding the horizons of Four Horsemen's take on acoustic music. The result? A sound all its own that incorporates aspects of all musical genres of the Caribbean into the heart and soul of all music lovers throughout the world and the galaxy.
Four Horsemen have just released their debut album 'Window'. 'Window' is a 13 track disc that compiles all os the first songs composed by the three songwriters within the band. All members perform and all members write. The CD sweeps through sounds reminiscent of Crosby, Stills, and Nash, America, and other greats from our past that incorporated thick vocal harmonies with driving acoustic guitar and world instrumentation. In opposition with some mainstream radio, there is nothing typical, generic, or flaccid about the sound emanated by these three youthful musicians. It is truly something fresh that you have to experience.
