Album Notes

With styles ranging from the timeless "Distance" to the party-favorite "You Know What The Fox Says", Fox DeLuxe shows they are serious songwriters who love to have fun on their full-length debut album.

Catchy melodies, clever arrangements, and brilliant saxophone. Fox DeLuxe is a pop/rock 5-piece band from Rockford, IL. The band showcases the usual guitar, piano, bass, and drums but adds in the likes of saxophone to create a true original sound. With influences like Ben Folds and Something Corporate, the band has been described by critics as a variety of genres, most commonly indie rock, alternative rock, and pop rock. Take a listen once, and you'll be humming Fox DeLuxe tunes all day.

I love the cd! (i'll admit i'm partial) So take a listen if you don't trust my review. I don't live near the Mississippi, but I miss it! The songs are cleverly written, they don't slow me down, but invite me along on an adventure and make me want to sing along. There is diversity in the cd from "techno" to a touch of Irish folk song...maybe even a little "Simon & Garfunkel." I can appreciate the influence of Ben Folds. Once you get warmed up and comfy you'll want to dance and party. I gave the cd four stars cause nobody's perfect, but they're perfect to me!
