Sherry Frachey is an elementary school teacher who began composing songs to promote positive attitudes and peaceful behaviors in her schools. Paired with "Tucker", a golden retriever, "The Peace Park Project" was born! The Peace Tour has visited hundreds of schools across central Illinois. "Power Tool Tour" is the second project in "The Peace Park Project" Series. The first CD, "The Peace Park", enjoyed tremendous success. In fact, it sold out after the first month! Requests for the music began pouring in from all over the U.S.
A third CD, entitled, "Compassionate Witness",including a book of stories about what kids and teachers face each day, is currently in production.

Great cd with excellent messages of peace and friendship!
author: Shauna Anderson
This is an excellent CD that our whole family enjoys. Our two and half year old enjoys singing and dancing along with the music and the grown-ups can't help but join in. Not only is it great music, but it also has great messages of peace and non-violence. Our favorites are "Hands are not for Hittin'" and "Our Hearts are the Same Color." I reccomend the CD for anyone who wants a fun and upbeat CD with a great message.

When we take the grandkids in the car, they want to hear the songs over and over
author: Clyde Rothman
FIVE BIG STARS for the positive and productive messages in each song! We heard of the first CD thru a family member and wanted to snag this one as soon as it came out. When we take the grandkids in the car (ages 7, 4 and 3), they want to hear the songs over and over. I am particularly pleased with the messages underlying each song. They do indeed promote PEACEFUL interaction among kids, mutual respect, a positive attitude and self-image. "Hands are Not For Hittin'", "Stinkin' Thinkin' Blues" and "All Hearts Are The Same Color" are perfect examples. Musically, they are exceptional and even though I'm 57 years old, I enjoy it - most songs a reminiscent of pop, blues or standards I've heard all my life. Keep 'em coming Peace Park!
