    I really like this CD. I haven't had it in my stereo nonstop, like some albums I buy, but I think it's really beautiful and sweet and I like this lady. I'd like to see what else she's capable of, or hear more of the same vein of music...either way, I'd buy more.

    I have mixed feelings. It seems like Francesca tries to sing more technically than she can but strangely it fits the mood. She really can bend her voice for different parts of the songs. I find myself dancing to the music everytime the chorus kicks in. Can only love this album.

    You know how a song you hate get stuck in your head all day and you're so annoyed you want to crack your head open and shred your brain to pieces? Francesca Gregorini's album, Sequel, certainly isn't that type of music I love her cd. its the only one i can listen to from start to finish and actually enjoy. Everything on the album was written by Francesca Gregorini herself and so all her songs have a certain consistency to them but not so much that the album sounds monotonous. And as i have been saying the past few weeks, she's a great great artist. Her lyrics have a lot of angst (not the teenage i-hate-the-world type) to it yet somehow manages to come out tender. Its metaphorical yet straightforward. Her voice is soulful and sultry. She's a cross between Tori Amos and Alanis Morisette but with a little more attitude. Her music is the kind i don't mind play in my mind 24/7.

    The one thing that differentiates this album from anything you have ever heard is that you won't find a collection of songs which flow and sound like "sequel". This album is possibly the best thing out there in terms of having great music, great lyrics and a great voice. The cd is both consistently amazing and addictive. It is impossible to choose a favourite track because they are all equally as brilliant as each other. A truly talented artist she is but her songwriting skills are just as worth highlighting. I found the lyrics to be both thought provoking and enticing. A combination of a sultry voice, and a clever use of music which compliments her voice. Francesca Gregorini pleasantly suprised me with such a unique album. I strongly reccomend it to you because I certainly will recomend it to everyone I know. I hope she receives the praise and credit she deserves for providing us with such amzaing music. BUY IT!!

    This CD is absolutely amazing. I love it. I don't often find a CD that I enjoy every single track it has on it, but with this one, I have.     the CD is an interesting and thought-provoking ride with the writer/lyricist...who just happens to also be the vocalist. Francesca offers herself up a bit - challenges herself and reflects a modern edge in music that is decidedly raw in its presentation. You get the feeling that you are in a small LA club with a woman onstage singing her heart out and wonderfully unaware that there is anyone else in the room. The artist displays good flexibility...beginning the CD with an empowering song "my flight" and meadering through various forms - confrontive "don't need anybody", a more sexy "my salvation" and allowing her voice to range from a whisper to downright forceful. A CD worth checking out.
