Album Notes

Frankie G AKA (Frank Giordano) felt the need to produce music that is a high intensity mix of great melody and rhythm – the kind of music that he grew up with, i.e., Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Elvis, Nat King Cole, the Beatles, Sir Elton John, and many more… Music saved Frankie from some very depressing emotional times in his life, and he is thankful to all the great music lovers, dreamers, and doers. Now it’s time to try and give something back to the world. Frankie G is lucky to have had a father, the late G.L Giordano that was an accomplished, big league songwriter with several songs that made it to the movies and on TV. His most notables were the top ten hit “Anna” from the MGM Movie, "Anna" and "Woman of the River" staring Sophia Loren. This Project captures the exciting feel and positive emotion of well-written music from his dad and others. Frankie has enlisted some of the best talent in the Washington, D.C. area such as, the young Seth Kibel who plays Sax/Clarinet, and Flute, and Kim Geoffrey Martin who is an acclaimed drummer of the style and proficiency of the great Buddy Rich. Of course, Frankie is thankful to the rest of the "Chesapeake Bay Jazz Ensemble" AKA the "Bay Jazz Project." Thanks also go out to the award winning orchestra leader and owner of OMEGA Studios, Edward ‘Pete’ Petersen, and his engineers. Frankie owes Bill Wolf, a Grammy Award winning mastering engineer, a debt of gratitude as well. Hope everyone who listens enjoys the Project and many thanks to you ALL that invest in it.
