A+ Highly recommended

There are some singers that I would just listen to them sing anything - like Tori Amos if you have seen her live, Diana Krall, and Frankie Leigh is one of these. I have seen her live and it's damn well worth it. On this CD she is the songwriter, singer and I think is playing all the instruments. The title track "Jesse" is playful, sexy and blues-y; so is "Let Me In". Other songs are lyrically introspective, heart-tugging, hopeful and sometimes sad love songs. I think her lyrics are both clever and true-to-life... you won't find any cliches here. Her vocal performances are nearly flawless and she's also quite the tasteful guitar player.
