Album Notes

This artist's musical roots include private lessons with Ash Dargan, Jeff Ball, Clint Goss, Jan Seiden, Rafael Bejarano and Hawk Henries. This is an eclectic group of mentors and teachers, whose styles vary and blend into the tracks created on this album. Their influence is clear; yet, there is also a new sound that is uniquely expressed. The album includes several solo native American flute tracks, played in the classic native style, as well as many with background tracks used with permission, all blending into a dynamic representation of this performer's considerable skills and interests. There are several tracks played with drone and harmony drone flutes. You will find tracks here that will relax you, and to which you may even lapse into meditation. But there are also some that will get your feet tapping and even one that invites you to sing or chant. The blues piece is especially surprising. The artist has achieved a wonderful variety of musical keys and styles while remaining true to the native American origins of these instruments. There is a complete list of flutes and keys used in these tracks on the artist's website. This music is hard to categorize, yet a beautiful experience.

Frank really makes the flute sing so sweetly - great CD to mediate to or just play it while you are doing things around the house - it is totally comforting. You just feel better after and while listening to it! Thanks Frank.
