ABOUT THIS ALBUM


Album Notes
I was trying to figure out what to call the album when I was done with it. I didn't want to call it my name, as it is my first all original record and I thought that might be a little pretentious (even though I wrote all the tunes and lyrics). So I decided on "All Over The Road" as it represents the idea of all the different styles of music on the album. It also has the double meaning of driving everywhere which every working musician can relate to. Here are some descriptions of the tunes:

All Over The Road - straight ahead rocker. Good driving music.
November Sea - rock ballad in the style of Jackson Browne
Hot Vegas - acoustic funk with harp
If I Had Shot You When I First Met You (I'd be out of jail by now) - extreme country song
Attraction - positive modern pop tune
Autumn Girl - psychedelic rock/pop with acoustic
Surely You Notice - romantic ballad
Timmy Likes Fire - story about a kid who likes fire
Homecoming Queen - funk with horns. Guy finds out his girl friend is stripping
New Thing - blues with slide guitars and tambourines
Live On - ballad for lost loved ones
Wake Up - reggae album closer
