Fran Schultz nee O'Connor shares with you her love for classical music in an eclectic and avant-garde sort of way via a midi-keyboard & records utilizing music computer software. Her music has been described by some very gifted and talented artist as delightful, beautiful, imaginative, original, gorgeous, airy, from the heart, dreamy, filled with inventiveness and finesse. Each piece is unique in expressing what comes to her mystically in the moment.
In this Christmas album collection Fran has chosen some very old favorites such as The First Noel and Oh Come, Oh Come Emmanuel. There are two versions of Oh Come, Oh Come Emmanuel with the first version starting out with the very traditional cathedral organ and continuing with orchestral strings. The second version is the more eclectic and freer style with some delightful compositional arrangement as the piece is developed improvisationally. Silent Night is brilliantly played by heart.
The Annunciation is a dazzling original work by Fran with the sounds of church bells ringing and of angelic-like singing. Christmas Fantasia is a keyboard electronic playful original piece to spice things up a bit, with soft voices accompanying the delicate cosmic sounds. Sacred Spaces is a masterful Choral work. Dancing With Angels is a classical avant-garde piece that will whisk you away from all troubles. Angelic Visitors is captivating and will open up the imagination. The Angelus is another improvisational piece performed by the artist and there are bells ringing, a choir singing, orchestral strings in a moving arrangement. Dashing Through The Snow is a fun keyboard electronic piece with sleigh-bells jingling and you just might feel as if you are on a sleigh-ride.
