notes
A further 25 tracks from the late, great Thomas Fraser of the Shetland Islands. The release of 'Treasure Untold' is the result of a series of uncanny Thomas Fraser tape finds within the past two years. Thomas Fraser passed away in 1978, aged only 50. During a remarkable life, he recorded 1000s of songs at home in his croft house on the remote island of Burra, on the west coast of Shetland.
'Treasure Untold' demonstrates Thomas's range and diversity with a truly astonishing selection of tracks. Many are calling it the most remarkable Thomas Fraser release so far.

Heartfelt & Fantastic
author: Shirley E. ThompkinsI can just visulize Thomas Fraser sitting in a back room of his little house in the Shetland Islands with his reel to reel recorder and singing and playing these heartfelt old songs. What a legacy he has left for his descendants, and what a story of recovery! Great work!
