Album Notes
Freak Juice is a band that is pushing the boundaries of traditional rock music by infusing jazz, hip-hop, reggae, blues and the art of improvisation into a new, fresh and invigorating wall of sound. Each member of the present line-up is a seasoned professional with many years of experience on stage as well as in the studio. Listen closely to the track "Like You" and as the guitars wail, the bass rumbles, the drums pound and the vocals soar, you will be instantly transported on a musical journey that is sure to stimulate your senses. Tori Ruffin, the bands founder and chief visionary, is currently gigging withTHE LEGENDARY MORRIS DAY & THE TIME and THE GODFATHERS OF PUNK ROCK AND SKA OfTEN IMITATED NEVER DUPLICATED FISHBONE. Occasionally you might see him rolling around on the smooth jazz ciruit and says he feels "very lucky and loves every minute of it", playing his instument and rocking stages large and small all over the world. Tori has said that although he has been fortunate enough to work with some of the biggest names in the music bizness, he feels even more fortunate to have found the newest additions to the freakjuice family . These guys are sraight up, no chaser, juice guzzling freaks and are based in part out of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Tha's right....Tulsa, Oklahoma! The best the bible belt has to offer. Make double sure you support independent music by checking out the bands humble beginnings with the initial offerings of "Corporate Dick" and "Juicemaker"which is available on itunes and Freak Juice is currently in the studio putting the final touches on the follow up to "Juicemaker" which, as yet, is untitled but will be available for your consumption real soon. Thank you for taking the time to check us out and for your support of independent music. peace and blessings Rock hard, lfast and heavy slow it down and make it fonky shakewell my fellow juicemakers we know how u like it !

No Pulp Here!
Freak Juice proves the bands musical prowess by blending different musical styles effortlessly without consciously trying to. They simply go were the groove takes them. This is really evident in the song "Positive Vibrations". They start out with a reggae type groove and transition into what I'd call layed back rocked out jazz. There's no pulp here people it's just hard diving honest music.
