A native of Santurce, Puerto Rico, Freddy Lopez began his career when he was 10 years old after dancing in the group
"The Village Kids" in Puerto Rico he move to New York, shortly thereafter Freddy participated in the groups "Young Sound Device"
and "New Image" doing choreography and dancing, while training his voice at the "BLOOMINGDALE SCHOOL OF MUSIC".
Freddy started to perform as a solo artist and became heavily involved with Freestyle Dance Music.

In 1995 he debuted his own TV show "El Show de Freddy Lopez" a Freestyle Music Variety Bilingual Show where he demonstrated
his ability to be a Master of Ceremonies as well as a producer,broadcast in 7 American/Hispanic TV stations.The show features
short comedy sketches as well as musical performances by Latino artists and was nominated for Best Entertainment Access Show.
In 1998, Freddy produced his 2nd TV program, "The Freestyle Music Show" Hosted by CHRISSY I-EECE.

His first album "Tu Jugaste Con Mi Amor" was an instant underground hit amongst the Latin freestyle fans and four of the songs went
into regular play lists at radio stations, I keep on trying, Tu jugaste Con Mi Amor, No Aguanto Mas and No Puedo Vivir Sin Ti.
With the success of this first album, Lopez founded in 1998 E. L. I. Records (2005 Closed).

After 5 years off the music industry he's decided to do his come back and is currently recording his new single "IF I COULD SEE YOU NOW",
which will be release on N.Y. STYLE RECORDS.
