I was born and raised in the Midwest part of the country on the outskirts of Cincinnati, Ohio. I believe that this part of the country is one of the best-kept secrets as being one of the best places to live in this great country of ours. When I was 18 years old, I played & sang for a season on the Delta Queen River boat, where I worked as a watchman. A few years later I joined a local country/bluegrass band as lead singer and guitarist where I played for many years in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. It was during this time, that I developed a great love and respect for country/bluegrass music. We were the opening act, on many occasions for some well known artists. I went on to play bass and rhythm guitars and sang lead for a few top 40 groups. I wasn’t as happy with top 40 however, and found myself coming full circle – back to country music, where I am today, writing and recording. It was great to know that the last CD recording we made, "In My Own Words" was played on radio stations all over the world and here in the United States! It was estimated at one time there were approximately 1,000 radio stations playing my songs and many stations still are. It would be nice to know that this latest CD "Havin Fun" will have the same or a better response. Thank You for taking the time to read and hope you like what you hear!
