notes
It started at the age of five years old when he placed his hands on his first guitar. He was now able to express his thoughts to the world in a manner where one could listen and relate. However he wondered if they would listen?
At the age of sixteen he was presented with the All County Award identifying him as one of the best guitarists in the state of Virginia. This provided him with some confidence that people were listening. However he secluded himself from the world in his purple room and let his imagination shine through his music.
After graduating with a Marketing degree, and spending time in Southern California, he returned home to Virginia to work on his upcoming album "Phenomenal." During this time he worked at a local music store and was able to work with some of best in the industry and also utilize some of the latest in music technology.
Frederick Dean has treated his music as a diary, documenting his successes, failures, regrets, beliefs and dreams. Through his music he is able to learn and be reminded of how precious life is. Instead of keeping his emotions inside he is releasing them for the world to hear. His hope is to make a difference. "If my music can help you as it has helped me, than I can say it was all worth it."

truly Phenomenal!!!
author: Bianca TaruselliAny musician can appreciate the intricate work, passion and energy put into the music. Frederick plays very technically while at the same time has feeling and emotion. He does more than just play the notes...It's great musicianship. My favorite piece, "Locked in the Closet," the only instumental on the cd, has a great groove and keeps a beautiful melodic line all in one. The other pieces are also melodic and have great lyrics with a soothing voice. I would suggest this CD to everyone. It's truly Phenomenal!
