Album Notes

Acoustic guitar. Says it all really, from the first time I picked one up I was hooked. This disc is my first attempt at an entire album. While simple in its nature, I think it speaks volumes in emotional expressions.

The acoustic guitar has always been a favorite of mine; I started playing when I was 14 years old. Jimmy page and Led Zeppelin's music got me on my way. Later influenced by people like Roy Harper. Many influences along the way!

Awakening is a collection of eight instrumental guitar pieces that I had been writing for the past 10 years. Some of the licks had been brewing since I was 16 years old, a long time ago. Allot of open tunings are used on this collection of songs. Open tunings were very inspirational to me and the results are on display here for the first time. I hope you like it, there is certainly more to come!
