At a young age he was opening shows for many well known stars including 'Hank Williams Jr.', 'Marty Stuart','Ronnie Mcdowell,''Jeanie Pruitt' and many others. Eddie paid his dues on the road living the wild life for many years in Rock & Country bands. Eddies background in music goes through many years of different influences and styles of music. Kiss, AC/DC, The Eagles, Bad Company, Marshall Tucker,& Lynerd Skynerd just to mention a few.
All of these influences come out in Eddies songs.
'Freedom 1' is a name that Eddie chose for their group a few years ago. Because 'Freedom Won' in his battle with drugs & alcohol & his lust for success in the music business that kept him in slavery for many years. Of the 12 albums Eddie & Mary Day have recorded, Eddie says SECOND CHANCE is his favorite.
"Southern Rock Country/Blues" is the best way to describe this cd" Eddie says. "I've played all different kinds of music and I like it all. I think most people are like me. Some days I like something hard and exciting..other days something easy and laid back. Some days a little of both."
'Second Chance'is a sample of Eddies testimony..Boogie Style! The album also has a parody of Lynyrd Skynyrds signature song, "Sweet Home Alabama". The words changed to "Sweet Home Hosanna", but the music is still hard core Southern Rock & Roll.
"Gonna Meet Your Maker" is another Bluesy Southern Tune that gets to the point about life and how fragile it is.
After the kickin' music and the jammin' guitar riffs on Eddie's song 'Free', you get a chance to catch your breath and listen to Eddie & Marys duet of "Things We Forget". True life experiences that Eddie & Mary have been through on their way to where they are now, & miracles from above that brought them through some horrible situations & raised their marriage from the dead.
'Let Jesus Drive' was written from a dream Eddie had one night when God asked him to get in the back and rest and let Him drive awhile.
'You Whispered My Name' and 'Forever Changed' are more testimonies about a messed up life that God was able to salvage and restore.
"We travel full time now," Eddie says. Mostly up & down the East Coast from Florida to the U.P.' We do many churches & coffee houses. Also outdoor events like biker rallys and car shows.

That Eddie sure can sing. His outstanding Christian song certainly stand-out from all other singers. It is easy to see why God changed his life and moved that talent to our side. God Bless.
