Back again with their fourth album, Freedom and Whiskey brings in 2009 with a new collection of hits titled BadLands. This album sums up the three previous releases from Freedom and Whiskey with twelve new incredible tracks. The musical influences are classic rock / southern rock and blues-rock but the band consistently continues to have a sound and style all their own. Bill Goins and Mark Hoekstra lay down the lead vocal melodies. Bill adds the bass groove and Mark fills in with some amazing harmonica work. Chuck Mingis rolls out the smoking guitar riffs and Mike Huettig keeps the beat with his flawless drumming and percussion techniques. Mike also adds another dimension to the bands sound with backing vocal and keyboard work. Written, produced, recorded and mastered by the band, BadLands is another timeless masterpiece from Freedom and Whiskey.
