The Freezone is an amalgam of performers from diverse backgrounds, locations, and musical interests -- brought together by a love to make music in a rub-a-dub style.
The Freezone is fronted by San Francisco guitarist and singer Patrick Greene. Patrick is known for his work with the band "SwoopUnit" as well his own group "the Patrick Greene Trio"(found at CDbaby). On Keyboards we find Steven Charles Cecil - a Baltimore based blues musician who has toured supporting artist such as Bobby Parker(Black Top Records), Sherman Robertson(Atlantic), and Albert Storo(CDBaby). The Drumming slot is held down by London Resident DJ Konal-a DJ who works mainly London and parts of Western Europe. Portland,OR Bassist RB Fagin(Dahmba8 Alumni) and Chicago guitarist Tom Dipietro(another Dahmba8 Alumni) round out the group. This live CD comes from an audience tape. This tape was mastered by Jim Fox of LION and FOX recording studios.
