Album Notes

Freight Train’s debut album, Burnin’ Down The Station will be a
welcome reminder of what balls-out blues-based hard rock is supposed to be.
Burnin’ Down The Station is the return of everything that’s been missing
from the hard rock genre for a long, long time. Freight Train is the shining
embodiment of what a power trio is.

The in-the-pocket sledgehammer drumming of Kevin Cunningham
and the thunderous groove of bassist Paul Farragher provide the
killer foundation for the blistering tone of Dirty Al Duncan’s
guitar riffs and raw, heartfelt vocals.

Recorded at Trakworx Studios and produced by Justin Weis and
Freight Train, these guys grew up listening to old school hard rock
albums from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s and decided that to capture the
warmth and awesome live tones Freight Train shows are known for,
they’d have to record the old school way: using 2-inch analog tape.

What you get is an instant classic. With 11 original songs and 2 cover songs,
Freight Train - Burnin’ Down The Station is an album that will always be on
your desert island list.
