Album Notes

French Donkey is two singer/songwriters:
Chris Donley (Donkey), of Sindust fame as well as an illustrious solo career, and Scott Paris (French), of the Imaginary Cookies. The two started writing songs together in '03 at Scott's home studio in Canton, Ohio. In only four weekends (over a span of three years) the French Donkey album was born. It was first released locally in a basic test market experiment, meaning "is this any good???" It seemed to be as the duo began to get very popular in the supporting regions... and now on to the World!

p.s. buy this record... it's very good :)

Alice in Chains?
author: Keith Newcomer
This album was different than what I expected from the stanpoint the album was a lot more upbeat/fast than anything Jack Johnson or for the most part Howie Day has done. I do not think the artist comparisons were correct which surprised me when I listened to the album. I was not a big fan of the vocals, but the guitar playing was good. They may be a band that does not record well, but sound great live. As always, listen for yourself and if you like the vocals of Alice in Chains a lot the vocals (not necessarily the music) sounded similar to me.
