Album Notes

After an extremely successful debut CD the high-energy rock band Frequency 54 officially released its second CD on October 2, 2004. The new release, What's Inside, debuted at the band's CD release party hosted by Michigan's premier rock and roll show bar, The Machine Shop, in Flint, Michigan (www.themachineshop.info). The show was a near sell out (~500 in attendance) and CD's were sold to over 1/3 of the shows attendees.

What's Inside features eleven more original tunes featuring the hard driving, yet melodic, style that is a Frequency 54 trademark. Songs such as Bleeding Again, Let it Go, Pieces, Can't Feel This and the title track, What's Inside, have had venues rockin' like only a Freq Show can rock! The CD also has tracks that will touch your heart and soul. Songs like Today and Dizzy Stumble will make you want to grab that someone special and hold on tight.

Early demos received rave reviews from the likes of Banana 101's (WWBN 101.5 FM, Flint) Tony Lebrie who featured the song, She Said, on a recent show, The Music Meeting. Tony told the listening audience, "...the first CD was good but this one (What's Inside) takes the band to the next level..." Most of the cuts were "tested" at some of Frequency 54's past shows and were met with great enthusiasm making fans impatient for the new release. Heather Whitney, writer for the Flint Journal wrote, "...Songs off the album (What's Inside) are already gathering a buzz courtesy of the band's high energy performances..."

Frequency 54's success has taken them to new heights as openers for national acts. The Freq Show has opened for such acts as Seether, Shinedown, Steriogram, Silvertide, Seven Mary Three, Josh Todd (former front man for Buck Cherry) and many, many more. Their high energy and awesome stage show have made them a favorite of national acts who've, on more than one occasion, asked for The Freq Show to open for them again when they come back into town.
