Album Notes

Amy Friedman writes the long-running (since 1992) popular syndicated newspaper Tell Me A Story (read more stories at www.uexpress.com/tellmeastory), and in her wanderings around Los Angeles, where she now lives, she's come upon some wondrous talent, many of whom she has gathered to join her in creating the Tell Me A Story audiobook series that began in 2006 with Tell Me A Story: Timeless Folktales.

Laura Hall, best known as the pianist from the popular television series Whose Line Is It Anyway,also has her own wonderful CDs available on CD Baby. Laura has also produced other CDs for children and was the composer for Roger Daltrey's DVD series The Wheels on the Bus. For more about Laura go to www.laurahall.com

is it. What is so lovely is that the production values and talent are all top notch that people
of any age can enjoy this CD. Each story has it's own individual theme, yet they are all comforting

Amy Friedman came in to give a talk to my undergraduate students in a children's literature class at UCLA.  She told a few of her stories and they LOVED it.  Needless to say we're also using her CDs!  What a great thing for kids and anyone who loves stories.

Miraculous

I offered this CD to my friend's son Felipe, after he had loved the first "Tell Me A Story". This is what my friend write to me: "Our afternoons have changed since Felipe got your present: He gets back from school and pokes his brother for only 5min. Then sits for almost 2 hours with his headphones on and listens to the stories over and over… God bless you Christine!!!"
