Album Notes

Today we are confronted with another infinite: the infinitely complex. We are confounded by the number and variety of elements, of relationships, of interactions and combinations on which the functions of large systems depend. We are only the cells, or the cogs; we are put off by the interdependence and the dynamism of the systems, which transform them at the very moment we study them. REM sleepcycle soundtrack a vibrant merging of memory and possibility
author: Quinault
When I first heard this, I thought to myself, I have heard this somewhere. Then it struck me - this is the music I hear in my dreams! Especially in the rapid eye movement when you can actually remember your dreams as you come in and out of deep sleep. The found sounds act like the conscience world invading your inner realm of tranquility [or turmoil] looping conflict and resolution challenging the listener/dreamer to address issues and find solutions. I find that listening to these songs while awake are both soothing and inviting me to be better. At least I know my surreal dreams now have an official soundtrack. I just wish the protagonist in my dreams was better looking or if I could remember some of the better lines.
