FSMXL = "Free Soundtrack Music Extended Listening". The "Invisible Throne of Gold" is a collection of extended and dub mixes of tracks originally appearing on the freesoundtrackmusic web site. Each of the new mixes expands on the original melodic or rhythmic elements, capturing more of the listener's attention and demanding a new context outside of their original purpose as background music for films or videos. On "Invisible Throne..." soundtrack composer and experimental audio artist C.P.Bryan continues to cut 'n' mix his way through music genres including Jazz, Industrial, Techno and Dub Reggae. Stylistically, influences can be traced back to the cut-up method of William Burroughs and audio looping composition methodology of Steve Reich: dense layers of rhythm and melody transport the listener to dreamlike exotic otherworldly locations.
