Album Notes

ftprints11

Richard Rummery (vocals,guitar/kbs/percussion),Graeme Burton (bass/b.vocals/percussion), Mark MacDonald (guitars)and Anna Handebo (guitar/dulcimer/percussion),

A unique and sophisticated rock unit led by songwriter/producer Richard Rummery. The band is promoting their twin album releases UNSOUND and THUMP. Rummery's style has been coined as FLEXROCK which refers to his genre twisting rock constructivity and genius at emergent meaning per sounds. UNSOUND is melodic modern rock with foxy and sweet by turns, while THUMP is a collection of experimental pop tracks in the electronica beat vein. Both albums have depth and variety with several songs contenders for singles. With reaction overwhelmingly positive, globally and locally, with the song Escape released in the US on a college radio compilation thru 3000 Records, this should give the band valuable exposure. Rummery, through mentor organization November Media is currently negotiating a record distribution deal, and hopes to release the albums in S.E. Asia and the U.S. CD’s are now available online as a download, or mail-order via November Media Records at www.novembermedia.com

REVIEWS

So this is flexrock! So coool that ordinary rock sounds awkward!
author: Jerry Fine
I love Numb and the first song Welcome to my aerospace the best, but this cd is consistently excellent. Each song a mini epic in itself. It sounds like these Flexrockers ftprints11 are inspired by any and all good musical ideas no matter how 'cool' or 'fresh' someone somewhere says it is. You see folks, that is all an illusion!! Nobody knows who is on the crest of the wave, or even what it looks like - especially record company marketing. This is just good, honest, and brilliant pop music for intelligent people. Can't wait for the next one!

Catchy and excellently arranged, this cd has a post 80's rock feel to it, but go
author: Nigel Mills
Numb is a classic as is Drawn up.Really cool 80's inspired rock grooves sounds but with that special ftprints11 uniqueness in approach and structure. The first listen of Unsound really fooled me, because repeated hearings revealed a depth and class not immediately apparent. Pop can be cool and positive, but it needs rock cred. ftprints11 have this in spades!

great pop sounds
author: Kerrie Redmond
music - although a little MOR for my liking - some songs are quite listen-able and dance-able. Songs would suit Brittany or a "wannabe madonna" lead singer could do with a hair cut urgently but other than that - he is eye candy! Some songs are too "busy" for my liking. However, the song titled Work in the Garden has a nice bluesy sound to it.
