Dreams That Her Piano Saw

Echoes of piano sound in endless corridor, or pleasure of being a devout romanticist were inspirations. Mari Fukuhara, known as a pianist / composer gifted with rare musicality for visual soundtracks, broke a long silence after her first solo album Octave. Pieta, an another set of fantasias pictured in her mind, has been released. Includes Les Pas D'Amour, main theme for a film 'Shirotsubaki' (October 2007) Directed by Masatoshi Akihara/Based on the novel by Kyusaku Yumeno.

Mari Fukuhara Bio
Born in Tokyo. Graduate from TOHO Music University. Started her music career as a member of the band [SHI-SHONEN], and [REALFISH] in the 80's. In 1997 it was released her own solo album [OCTAVE]. Then, in 1999 she wrote the music for the soundtrack of the movie [MOUMANTAI] (Hong Kong / Japan). Besides, she has written the music for several movies and TV commercials and singers. In 2005 she started her series of PIANO SOLO live concerts.
