Album Notes

Full Black Out is a seriously booty moving Southern Rock/Funk/Blues jam based outfit, born and bred in the swampy stew of North Florida. The band’s primary focus is to produce music and lyrics that will positively move it’s listeners, with a focus on good times and good vibes. Groovin’ drums and bass, dueling guitars, screaming harmonica, and multiple vocals make up the core sounds of the band. Add to that some unbridled creativity and a band chalk full of songwriters, and you get Full Black Out. Andrew Block - Vocals, Guitars Bakari Hines - Drums, Percusson Jeff Davis - Bass Kip Kale - Vocals, Guitars, Harmonica There were several special guests who graced the album with their incredible tones and talents. Matt Grondin from Jacksonville (http://www.incamaya.com) layed down some RIPPIN’ guitar work on the track Jamcruisin’. Also appearing on Jamcruisin’ is an incredible bassist, Andrew Altman, who now tours with the Codetalkers (http://www.thecodetalkers.com/) He played a deep moog synth part on the track. Jess Franklin (http://www.tishamingo.com) played some real heartfelt slide on the track Friends. Of course our often absent, behind the scenes “fifth Black Out”, Tony G. (www.myspace.com/ancientharmony), played searing B3 Organ/Leslie on ALL the tracks. Also, Dillon Bradley-Brown (Catfish Alliance) rocked the drums on two tracks, Jamcruisin’ and Wearin’ Out Women. The album was mastered by Terry Manning http://www.terrymanning.com http://www.compasspointstudios.com) in beautiful Nassau, Bahamas. Terry Manning is at this very moment Producing/Engineering the upcoming Widespread Panic album. Apparently he HAD to put that on hold just so he could work on OUR project ;-) Finally big props to Alan Alovus, Full Black Out’s full time Art Director. Hope you all get a kick out of his work!
