Full Blown Mosey are a classic hard rock band from the state of Wyoming. Their music is extremely tight due to having played together for so many years. Kirk Warren, Rocky Harting and Greg Scott have been together since the early 90's playing the best guitar rock around.
Kirk Warren (vocals and bass) has one of the most flexible voices and is able to imitate the most classic singers from Bon Scott to Dave Lee Roth. On his own music, the vocals are smooth, articulate and melodic. His bass playing will have even guitar players reaching for their air guitars. There is a definite Geddy Lee/John Paul Jones influence that he can turn on when he wants too. Like all musicians in Full Blown Mosey, he doesn't over play. Kirk wrote all the lyrics for the album, as well as most of the music.
Dale Ortega, who died during the making of this record, was one of the most creative drummers, not to mention one of the funniest human beings you would ever meet. Dale listened carefully to all the band members during the rehearsing of this album and designed his parts to compliment. Unusual for a drummer, even complimenting the lyrics were important to Dale. Listen to "Time The Master" for some creative interplay with the lyrical content and what Dale is playing. This whole album is dedicated to his memory.
Rocky Harting is a classically trained lead guitar player who eats, sleeps and breaths guitar. He could not live without his instrument for more than a few hours at a time when he was growing up. He is the quiet band member but takes care of most of the band's business. This album is a combination of his and Kirk Warren's compositions. He is also the recording and mix engineer of this album.
Full Blown Mosey wouldn't be what they are without Greg Scott. He is the glue that sticks them together. Always positive, Greg is joy for the guys to work with. Greg's input to the songwriting process was invaluable. If something wasn't working, it was Greg that could fix it. Multi-talented, Greg added vocals where needed, as well as some cool lead parts. The tight sounding rhythm guitar parts on this album...thats Greg.
The album Temporal Cadence contains a variety of rocking music that may remind the listener of old style Kiss, Rush, Triumph. Make sure you check out the samples!
